The DCDC Network connects researchers, institutions, and professionals across Aruba, Curaçao, and St. Martin who share a commitment to open data, collaborative research, and building digital capacity in our region.
Join the network: take the onboarding survey
The onboarding survey is the one thing we really want from you. It tells us who is in the network, what you work on, and where support would actually help, and it puts you on the newsletter list at the same time. About 5 to 7 minutes.

What we do
The DCDC Network aims to break down data silos between Caribbean research institutions and foster open, FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), and collaborative data practices.
Through the network, we:
- Build digital competence via peer-to-peer exchange and training programs
- Facilitate strategic partnerships across islands and sectors
- Connect professionals with shared interests in open science and data management
- Develop a collective vision for knowledge sharing in the Dutch Caribbean
Whether you're deeply experienced in open science or just beginning to explore these topics, you're welcome here.
Free, open-source training that stays in the region
Our first course, Introduction to R for SPSS users, ran at the University of Aruba in April 2026. More courses are in the pipeline, and we point the network to trusted external training in research data management, data ethics, and FAIR data.
